We live in a judgemental society.
Yes, it is true, we are living in a judgemental society.
How many times have you been judged in a day?
How many times have you been uncomfortable by the judgements?
The judgement starts from the day you are born and will never end even after you die.
When you are born, the first judgment will be if you are a boy or a girl, especially in India, if you are a girl then gone, your whole life will be judged.
The next will be the complexion, oh the baby is dark. So what? Mind your own business!
The next comes the weight if too thin or fat, so what? Mind your own business instead of bodyshaming.
This reminds me of a famous old song in bollywood which is meaninful for this society, Dafli wala Dafli baja means mind your own business.
The next judgement comes in your academics, especially more than you and your family, the society is more interested in your marks and career.
The next judgement comes for marriage. How old are you? Why aren't you married? So what? Mind your own business.
Once you are married, the next judgement will be for kids. Oh, how many kids? Even if they know the answer is none, they want to ask. Plan soon else it will be complicated. Are you my doctor? Mind your own business.
The next judgement will be if you are living alone or separated or divorced. Especially if you are a girl living in India, then gone, the judgement will be life sentence.
Again the judgement repeats till your death. Even after your death, because recently my friend passed away in an accident and the judgment is still goin on and on.
Dear Society,
Please, enough is enough.
Stop being judgememtal and mind your own business.
