Go where you are Valued

They said - Go where you are valued, so I ran back to God. Why did I run back to God and not towards God?  God knew me since I was in the womb of my mother. When I came into this world , I met different people since my birth.  My mother, father, brother, friends , relatives, classmates, colleagues, neighbors, spouse.  But, do all of them value me? No! I didn't come across even one person in my life who gave value to me.  When I felt that, I had to run back to God who knew me. The only one God who valued me.  I had to run back to Him.  Go where you are valued!

Burst Crackers or Emotions?

Happy Diwali 🙂 As we celebrate the festival of lights,  reminds me of childhood celebrations. All houses lighted with diyas, waiting to open the crackers and burst them in the morning and flower pots in the night.  Yes, that was fun filled childhood with competition on whose rocket flies high. But those days we never realized about pollution or the harmful effects to nature and animals.  We used to burst crackers only for fun. No emotions. At present, should we be bursting crackers or emotions?  Now I realize how bursting crackers is affecting emotions.  Now I am able to see right in front of my eyes how my kitties are getting scared by the sound of bursting crackers and are hiding here and there. Running all around with fear. Are we bursting crackers or emotions this Diwali?

Judgemental Society

We live in a judgemental society. Yes, it is true, we are living in a judgemental society. How many times have you been judged in a day?  How many times have you been uncomfortable by the judgements? The judgement starts from the day you are born and will never end even after you die. When you are born, the first judgment will be if you are a boy or a girl, especially in India, if you are a girl then gone, your whole life will be judged. The next will be the complexion, oh the baby is dark. So what? Mind your own business! The next comes the weight if too thin or fat, so what? Mind your own business instead of bodyshaming. This reminds me of a famous old song in bollywood which is meaninful for this society, Dafli wala Dafli baja means mind your own business. The next judgement comes in your academics, especially more than you and your family,  the society is more interested in your marks and career.  The next judgement comes for marriage. How old are yo...

Ego or Dignity?

When you stop talking to people who have hurt your ego, Its not Ego, Its Dignity. When you start maintainig distance with toxic people, its not Ego, Its self respect. When you argue with elders when you are right, its not Ego. When you stop listening to arrogant people, its not Ego. When you make your own decisions,  its not Ego. When you choose to be independent, its not Ego. When you start caring for yourself, its not Ego or selfishness, Its self care which is more important nowadays. When you stop caring people who doesnt value you, its not Ego, Its self respect. There are so many things which is termed as Ego, but isn't.  Ego or Dignity?

Living or Dying ?

When many think of living life to the fullest, I always think of dying peacefully. Many thank God for gifting another day in their life, but I started asking God Why another Day? When many lost their lives in this pandemic and few thank God because they are alive, I ask God, why didn't you include me in the list of people who died. Yes, I always think of dying instead of living. What would happen when I am dying?  Will angels surround me to take me to heaven or will the demon drag me to hell ?  Will I be dying peacefully? Will I be surrounded by my loved ones? Will I be able to say goodbye to them? Will I be dying while I am asleep ? Will I even get to know when I am dying? What would be my last words?  Living or Dying ?

In-Dependence

Today is August 15th, we are celebrating the 75th year of Independence. What do you mean by independence? We are no longer dependent. We are free from being controlled and oppressed. Think again, are we still In-Dependence?  Are you still being controlled by somebody? Then you are still not independent. When will we achieve the real independence? There are still people in jail  today who spoke the truth, there are still people who are being oppressed. When will we get freedom from the oppressors?  Happy In-Dependence Day!

Health is Wealth

There is a famous proverb "Health is Wealth" and that's so true. Roger that! The proverb ' Health is wealth ' means that one's  health  is the greatest  wealth . The definition of  health  is a state of a person's physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. ... Every person must maintain good  health. Especially,  when it comes to married women, health is an important factor.  The family expects her to work and do all the household chores even when she is not well. This reminds me of my mother who used to do all work, cook food, do household chores even when she is not well without any support from the family. We have to break this stereotype where they expect a woman to work even when she is unwell for the sake of family. This applies to man as well, wher he is expected to go to work even if he is unwell for the sake of family.  In short,  if you are unhealthy, you would be a burden to the family.  So, ple...

The Family Court

Have you ever been to the family court? If you are a married woman, then, yes, your in-laws house is a family court. The judge of the family is Father-in-law or Mother-in-law. In my case, its my Father in law. The lawyers are your brother-in-law or sister-in-law,  in my case, its my sister in law.  And you are the culprit in this court. The judge of the family is biased and pass double standard judgements which is not fair. That is, you, the culprit is always wrong and if the same thing their daughter does, it is right. And for the judge, his judgement is always right. No comments. Order, Order! The lawyer goes to any extreme to win his/her arguments.  The words used would be provoking and hurting. Still, they win by hurting you and that's why they are the laywer in the family court.  Now, we know why they are called in-laws, because they pass the laws in the family court and you have to follow their laws. Else, you are the culprit in the family cou...
